London Calling
The first stop for anyone wanting to pick up some holiday bargains is definitely Oxford Street, one of Europe’s busiest shopping districts. Oxford Street stretches for over two kilometres and offers a huge range of fashion, entertainment and electrical stores. Expect to find such stores such as Selfridges, Marks and Spencer’s, HMV and Top Shop, the self proclaimed largest fashion store in the world.
For a more alternative approach to shopping, holiday bargain hunters can head to Camden Market where you will find a massive range of vintage, second hand and alternative clothing. This is a great place to find some exciting one off pieces and even some designer bargains.
One of London’s most exclusive shopping areas is definitely Knightsbridge, home to some high quality designer stores. Both Harrods and Harvey Nichols are located in the area as well as brands such as Cartier, Jimmy Choo and the amazing Vivienne Westwood. Westwood’s Anglomania collection is influenced by London fashion and any of her pieces make a fantastic addition to any wardrobe.
London is undoubtedly the most controversial and exciting fashion hotspot in the world. With so many young designers being showcased around the city, it is a great way to grab a holiday bargain buy and add some extra sparkle to your wardrobe.Last Updated ( Tuesday, 08 December 2009 15:11 )
