Shopping in Venetian Luxury
The main shopping street in Venice is Calle dei Babbri, attracting crowds of shoppers every year. For a more alternative selection of clothes and accessories, head to Frezzeria which is located just to the west of San Marco. For more upmarket stores, shoppers should head to the strip of shops that stretch from the Piazza to the Accademia Bridge. Traditional holiday souvenirs and gifts are found just North of Campo Santa Stefano, where small quaint shops and traditional markets line the streets.
The San Marco area is a great place for serious shoppers to find some of the world’s best known labels including Armani, Gucci, Prada and Versace. This area is fantastic for people wanting to pick up some of the current catwalk trends during their holidays to Venice. For vintage and more contemporary designs, visit Fiorella in Campo Santa Stefano where there are several small boutiques selling pieces by up and coming designers. In this area you can also pick up from unusual and unique accessories, shoes and jewellery.
The stunning Venetian scenery and the wide variety of shops available, combine to make holidays to Venice one of the best places to indulge in retail therapy.
